Workforce Development Planning


Talent Springs facilitated a planning team to develop a work force development plan for acceptance by the board of a health care provider.  The goal of the project was to design a plan to effectively attract, recruit, and retain health care professionals to offset demographic indicators of a pervasive shortage of healthcare professionals.  Elements of the project included:
 
  • Developing project parameters with executive sponsor 
  • Researching best practices

  • Conducting interviews with selected executives to identify opportunities and challenges within functional areas

  • Facilitating a series of team meetings with a designated, multi-disciplined task force

  • Collaborating with the task force to develop workforce development goals and recommended strategies and measures

  • Presenting the recommended plan to the executive sponsor of the project
